Meet your instructor
My name is Azren and I’m the owner of the Calgary Language Nerds. I have over 15 000 hours experience teaching and learning foreign languages. I speak 5 languages myself: English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Gujarati. I’ve taught people of all ages, both online and in-person. Learning and teaching languages are two of my favourite things to do 
I started the Calgary Language Nerds in 2016. Since then, my team of instructors and I have worked with thousands of people and helped them towards their proficiency goals. We are true “Language Nerds” who love learning and teaching foreign languages.

Why this class is free
An introductory course being offered for FREE is unheard of.
I could charge for it, but I don’t. The reason is that I have a different business model than others in the industry.
Let me explain.
I want to help two types of language learners.
The first type of language learner is anyone with very little or no prior experience with learning a language. If you’re on this webpage, that is likely you.
I’m offering this free class to teach you the basics so that you can quickly learn to have simple conversations.
After this free 5-week class, you’ll become the second type of language learner.
The second type of language learner is anyone who wants to become conversationally fluent.
This type of language learner already knows the basics and can have simple conversations, but want to take things a step further.
Once you reach that level, I would appreciate it if you considered my Conversational Confidence course.
In this course, students learn to confidently hold a 15-20 minute conversation about common day-to-day topics.
In other words, they go from having a beginner conversation level to having an intermediate conversation level.
This course is flexible and affordable. It makes the learning process fast and straightforward. Best of all, the results are guaranteed.
